CABLECON 528L
DEDICATED DIGITAL LOAD CELL INDICATING SYSTEM FOR NEW OR EXISTING HORIZONTAL OR VERTICAL PROOF TESTING MACHINES

DESCRIPTION:
The CABLECON 528L is a dedicated digital load cell indicating system used to improve testing of Wire Rope, Slings, Nylon Slings, and Chain, etc. The system can be used for new horizontal or new vertical proof test machines or to upgrade/retrofit an existing machine that presently uses analog pressure gages for indicating force.

The CABLECON 528L is compromised of high quality, state-of-the-art components which produce excellent accurate results over a long period of time. These systems have been installed on new and existing test beds and have a history of high performance and durability (references available). Designed for ease of operation, the CABLECON 528L will insure the user of an ASTM-E4 calibration along with increasing the accuracy of the resultant test data. The CABLECON 528L can be designed using load cells, pressure transducers, or both as force measuring devices.

The CABLECON 331 HIB XCX is a special system/package that can produce a test certificate and is associated with the CABLECON 528L system, if this option is selected. The CABLECON 331 HIB XCX system/package is compromised of a desktop computer (with special software) that is designed to record, save, and print a test certificate custom designed to your exact specifications. This system is designed to "walk" the operator through the required steps and can be modified to meet any future test requirements.

APPLICATIONS:
For highest accuracy in proof testing wire ropes, nylon slings, slings, chains, block, etc.

For updating older proof test machines that cannot meet ASTM E-4, N.R.C., D.O.T., D.O.D., A.N.S.I., and MIL calibration specifications requirements due to the inaccuracies and poor resolution of pressure gages, friction in the load train and/or antiquated recording devices.

SYSTEM DESIGN:
The Cablecon 528L can be designed with a variety of options determined and selected by customer specifications. Most important is that all systems are designed and built to meet or surpass ASTM E-4 standard specifications (+/- 1.0%).
NOTE: When retrofitting an existing proof testing machine, the Cablecon 528L will increase the accuracy of the test data along with simplifying operation of the testing machine itself and increase testing production.
