LOAD CELLS - Typical Load Cells

Strainsense Enterprises, Inc. manufactures a wide assortment of standard grade and calibration load cells. Each load cell is specifically designed to meet ASTM specifications and customer requirements both physically and electrically. SSC load cells incorporate proper alloys and must pass a rigid control check. Every load cell is individually machined by highly skilled machinists and instrumented and assembled by highly skilled, dedicated individuals with state of the art technology.

Typical Load Cells:

Standard Compression - Typically designed with a flat base and radius top.

Standard Tension - can be designed with male threads, female threads, or a male/female combination.

Standard Tension/Compression - Typically designed with female threads and a screw-in compression load button. In some high capacity models, the unit can be designed with male threads and a radius top for compression testing.

Hollow Tension/Compression - Generally used for cable testing application, Can be fitted with a rocker top to equalize load distribution for compression testing and internal or external threads for tension testing.

Low Profile Compression - Used in application where clearance is a problem, Can be designed with a fixed radius or flat swivel top. Swivel top allows load cell to align to off center loading.

Low Profile Tension/Compression - Center hub designed with a female thread and an outer bolt circle to meet required specifications for tension testing. For models where tension and compression are required, a screw-in radius top is provided.

Reaction Torque Sensors - Designed electrically and mechanically to fit required specifications. Custom Designed - Engineering and design services are available where applications have to conform to certain mechanical dimensions and /or electrical specifications.

Metric Models - All of the above listed cells can be designed as Metric units.
